Candlemaking  Workshops – Anglesey

From our Candle Studio on the Isle of Anglesey we run regular candlemaking workshops throughout the year.  

Located just 3 miles from Newborough forest and Llanddwyn beach – in an area of outstanding natural beauty – an inspirational setting to learn the ancient craft of Candle Making.

The Candle Alchemist is located on the first floor of a former Victorian schoolhouse – access is via the original  (steep) stone staircase at the back of the building.  At one end of the schooroom is all the candle making equipment, and this is where the candles are made and our workshops take place.

At the other end is our small Candle Gift Shop – where you’ll find a whole range of exclusive candles for sale, from scented votives, hand dipped tapers, pillar candles, and novelty candles in the shape of lighthouses, pumpkins or toadstools!

Pay us a visit – you’re sure to find the perfect candle gift!  But remember to book first if you want to learn how to make your own candles!
